Dale Greenwell

​Dale (he, him) is the owner and operator of The Carriage Establishment. He is passionate about making memories with your family, neighborhood, business, or community with a fantastic event. Dale has more than 45 years of experience with horses and a vast knowledge of the art of horse carriage driving.
​
​When he is not in the pasture with his horses or providing services for in an event, he loves spending time with his wife, eating a bowl of ice cream, or being with his kids and grandson.

Meet Our Animal Partners

Hank
Hank is our majestic brown-haired horse. Hank is our tallest Percheron at 17.2 hands.  He loves fresh grass hay and sweet grain. Even after eating a full meal, he's looking for his next snack. He loves meeting new friends in his vis-a-vis carriage, showing off his beautiful clean coat, and receiving​ gentle face rubs. 

​Tux
At 13 years old, Tux is 17.1 hands and weighs about 1850 pounds.  He has a beautiful tail which is so long it almost touches the ground.  Just like Blaze, he like to roll in the dirt as soon as he gets back to the pasture after an event. Tux loves to trot and has a lively, proud gait as he pulls the carriage or as he enjoys the other horses in the pasture.

​Chase
Chase is an American Spotted Draft Horse, who joined our team in October 2025 by way of KY. He's a 9-year-old, 17.2 hands, 2,000 lbs. of strength and power. Chase looks truly majestic with his tobiano red and white pattern. He is full of curiosity and energy and loves to trot. 

Sam
Sam, our youngster is 17.1 hands and growing fast. He joined our team July 2024 from Liberty, KY and easily found his place with our horses. Sam partners well as a team and enjoys his training time with Dale. He's an exceptionally gentle and affectionate draft horse.
It's with sad but grateful hearts we say goodbye to our pretty boy Blaze. It is said, "Horses leave hoof prints on our hearts." Thanks for more than 18 years of memories, Blaze.
