The Carriage Establishment is honored to assist you in celebrating the life of your loved one with a funeral horse drawn hearse, reflecting dignity and elegance.  Our authenic horse drawn hearse pulled by our team of horses, is perfect for families looking for an unique option to give their loved one a proper send-off.  The stately black hearse will lead the procession to your beloved person’s last resting place.​

Funeral Package


​Our horse drawn hearse carriage service is generally available in Northern Utah.  Due to the possibility of previous bookings, have your Funeral Director contact us for availability before the funeral service time is scheduled, or contact us directly and we will contact the Funeral Director.  We will need logistical information to determine the feasibility of our services and the coordination of details with the funeral home.  We also arrange for our horse drawn hearse to take your loved one from either of the following destinations (depending on distance and logistics).
  • The funeral home to the church
  • The funeral home to the cemetery
  • The church to the cemetery
  • The cemetery entrance to the grave site

For longer destinations the Funeral Director and The Carriage Establishment can determine the point of transfer, having the pall bearers transfer the casket from the motorized coach to the horse drawn hearse and continue to your loved one’s final resting place.

Please call for rates due to various factors.  Rides can be customized to meet your needs.  We are proud to offer a 10% military discount for horse drawn funeral services for veterans.
