About Us

The Carriage Establishment is a family-owned business, first started in 2014 by Dale (he, him, his) and Karen (she, her, hers) Greenwell.  Dale grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and planned on having a successful business of his own.  Many years of opportunities in various life paths finally led him to his dream business; working with horses.

​Dale grew up riding his pony Ginger, and later many other horses in the hills behind his home.  He trained horses and found a natural relationship and connection with them.  He started driving horse drawn carriages in Salt Lake City in 2008.  He enjoys meeting and serving the public and giving them a memorable experience riding in the carriage.

Dale and Karen partner together to realize The Carriage Establishment Mission to:  Provide one-of-a-kind nostalgic Horse Drawn Carriage Experience.  They are committed to be respectful of individual, family and community cultures, while providing exceptional customer service.
